The Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 Collection in the recent New York Fashion Week total look was like Mary Poppins written all over the runway but a lot of elegance and chic tweaked into it.
The collection was multi-layered, colorful, hats, wide belts, huge accessories mixed in together that only Marc Jacobs could pull off. Marc used plenty of words describing his Spring 09 collection such as “America, Broadway, Country, Naivete” to name a few.
You can argue with his eclectic mixture of colors and texture but his shoes were definitely amazing.
The total look of the Marc Jacobs 2009 Collection will be favored by those who are adventurous and loves to be dressed up in a mix-matched creation of shiny metallics, colors, textures and pattern. However, the shoes and the wide belts will be a hit with every fashionista around come spring.
