The perfect Fall/Winter fragrance comes from Estee Lauder latest Parfum Spray called Sensuous. Four beautiful, stunning women of style and sensuality are Estee Lauder’s ad faces for this woody amber scent: Elizabeth Hurley, Gwyneth Palthrow, Carolyn Murphy and Hilary Rhoda.
Based from the ad photos, they clearly are the perfect embodiment of the very essence of Sensuous. Strong, confident, spirited and sexy.
This was released to the stores back in July targeting the start of summer, however, since Estee Lauder comes off quite heavy on some people most of the time including ‘moi’, I just feel it is more perfect for colder seasons. Although, Sensuous is a little bit lighter than most of the other Estee Lauder fragrances.
It is quite different from the typical floral scents of Estee Lauder. It is woodsier yet sweet with hints of amber, jasmine and lily were wonderfully mixed in. It has a certain spiciness on it because I believed they combined traces of black pepper on it to add some mystery while honey was added to have that lingering warmth that help exude sensuality to the wearer.
Aside from the Eau de Parfum Spray which is US$69.50 per 100ml., Sensuous comes with a collection of body essentials like Body Lotion, Silk Shower Crème, Touch-on Fragrance and Brushed on Perfume Pressed Powder.
