Teen Choice Awards 2008 Fashion Trends

The teen goddesses strutted their way to the red carpet of the 2008 Teen Choice Awards. To be young, beautiful and stunningly fashionable at the same time, no wonder fans were shrieking left and right as the photographers kept on clicking, taking shots of every angle they can get. Most of the girls were either on their minis or long dresses. Some did well, being cute and sexy, just right for their ages but there were some who totally forgot to have fun, bored the viewers to death.
Blake Lively from Gossip Girl was amazingly fabulous on her one shouldered mini from Tadashi Shoji. Color Me Purple! The belt actually worked on her but she could have done better with the shoes.
The Jenni Kayne floral gown looked absolutely right for the sunny smile by Sophia Bush and Rachel Bilson looked stunning and fresh with her Brian Reyes aquamarine asymmetrical mini dress. She paired it up with beige strappy heels.
Awards host Miley Cyrus was sparkling with her Moschino Cheap & Chic tiered-sequined number. However, there were others who questioned her choice of shoes, which was a pair of slouchy suede boots although it made her look more funky and young. It’s a teen event, why not?!
Vanessa Hudgens was in a Catherine Malandrino strapless black-gray-ecru mini dress. No wavy hair that night, she had long straight hair, made her look elegant and sophisticated. She kept it simple, why bother when she has Zac-aroni on her side.
