Andy Warhol, one of the most prominent figures in the Pop Art movement, continues to be honored as his art style and works are featured in various commercial designs today. Pepe Jeans London, following the steps taken by Levi Strauss & Co., will be realeasing their own line of Warhol-inspired denim and accessory collection.
The 250-piece Warhol Collection is categorized into two selections – Pop and Factory. The collection will include pieces for men and for women.
The Pop collection will draw on Andy Warhol’s pop and commercial images, such as the Campbell’s Soup Cans, while the Factory collection will be reminiscent of Warhol’s more personal artistic style.
Approved by the Andy Warhol Foundation, the graphic denim dresses make up the highlight of the entire collection. They incorporate funky graphics, colorful prints and very distinctive styles.
Be prepared to pay a bit more, though, as this collection is only available in Europe.
