The Flower Power Fashion
|
Exactly. The hippie fashion statement is IN, yet again. The 60’s - 70’s groove took a higher level of fashion on the runways as the likes of Dolce & Gabanna, Roberto Cavalli, Nina Ricci, Wunderkind, Prada, and other top designers featured ultra hip retro looks that are now taking the fashion world by storm. Tie dyes from Veronique Branquinho and Wunderkind were a hit but Oliver Theysken’s Nina Ricci and Roberto Cavalli’s hippie-rocker flair were also crowd favorites.

D&G, Nina Ricci and Roberto Cavalli’s were crowd favorites.
Apparently, the “make love, not war” era is back and here to stay. Tie dyes, bellbottoms, raging vibrant colors, tunics, peasant skirts, are a few of the must haves this season. So no matter what age you are, stop playing safe, drop off those blacks and go for bold prints with vivid colorss. It wouldn’t be hard finding these at the moment since they stand out at almost each retail store. Top color picks for summer are lime, green, orange, lilac, lemon yellow, fuchsia, and rose red. But if you insist on the classic black or white, just spice it up with a little bright colors like accessories, a shaul or a jacket, or even a pair of eye popping shades.

Get the perfect “flower power” look with a vibrant blouse worn with a pair of wide legged denims, an oversized bag, a hobo perhaps, a perfect ordinary day get up.
