The New Friendship Necklace

In the 80’s era, friendship bracelets were popularized among teens and preppy schoolers alike. Today, modern jewelry designer Natasha Leith-Smith has come up with an updated version of the age-old friendship bracelet: the friendship necklace. Her collection named Allumer, features a more modernized approach using bright colored ball chain necklaces strung with 9-carat gold charms.
The chains come in yellow, turquoise, purple and other fun colors and the charm pendants either come in yellow gold, rose gold, and white gold. A popular piece comes in the form of a flat round disc that when flipped, reveals a candy messages like XOXO, WINK, or ROCK.
