French shoe designer Christian Louboutin bounces back with his new pre-fall collection characterized by fashionable heel details, chic animal prints and bright patents - all bearing his signature red sole, of course.

Story has it that in one of his fashion shows during his early years in the fashion industry, Louboutin felt that something was missing in his design collection but could not quite decipher what it was. One of his employees was wearing a bright red Chanel nail polish, and he immediately knew that it was the perfect detail to complete his shoes! Thus after painting his sole a bright red, the signature sole became the trademark of a legend.
A popular choice among celebrities and high-end shoppers (Celebrity sighted in Louboutins include Angelina Jolie, Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow), Louboutin has four stores in the United States - two in New York: one in downtown Horacio Street and one in Madison Avenue. The other shops are located in upscale Beverly Hills and Las Vegas. He leases one retail space in Boston,and maintains an outlet in England and HongKong.
