The Return of Long Evening Dresses

We have seen Hollywood celebrity and fashion icon Gwyneth Paltrow in a seemingly endless display of her designer short frocks last season in a whirlwind promotion for her recent flick Iron Man, as much as we have seen fashion models traipse down the runway in leg-revealing skirts and dresses. Enough said, the mini trend has flooded glossies and screens worldwide and now, the fashion mistresses say it’s about time to take the ‘long’ break.
Glancing now at Times Online, I am ecstatic in the announcement that long dresses have found their way back into fashion, and into my life! While I also have a penchant for short tank dresses, the summer season has now ebbed into a low tide and so has my obsession for anything short. The thought of a long flowing dress seems so much more enticing now.
Contrary to the thought that only royals wear long dresses these days, fashion model Kate Moss was seen in an ankle-grazing number just the other day while attending a pal’s wedding! So how fashionable is that? I’m saying its the newest thing to hit the fashion scene! So scurry on, and find yourself a long sexy dress that grazes your ankle indeed.
