ET’s Cojo crowned Katie Holmes as best dressed for the Annual Costume Institute Gala. Yet, spectators couldn’t quite comprehend the shocking blue heels she paired with her ultra elegant vintage red Armani gown. No, it’s not some season’s fashion statement nor Armani’s influence. Women’s Wear Daily reports that the blue heels were actually picked by Suri!

Reports reveal that mom and daughter were caught shopping at Madison Avenue Boutique when the Roger Vivier blue heels instantaneously caught Suri’s interest. Along with the blue heels, Suri also picked out a pair of red buckle flats for mom.

Vivier designer’s gratification lead them to create a special children’s pair just for the celebrity baby. The late French designer Vivier, who is well recognized for inventing the stiletto heel is also popular for producing shoes for Yves St. Laurent, Christian Dior, celebrities as well as British Royals.

Despite the ultra odd combination of a red couture dress and a pair of blue heels, Katie was nevertheless proclaimed best dressed. Now, we wouldn’t be surprised if this eventually becomes the next fashion statement.
