The Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham Antonio Berardi Heel-less Boots
|
Victoria ‘Posh’ Beckham along with hubby soccer superstar David Beckham went to Macy’s wearing the most talked about heel-less boots which created so much buzz from all parts of the fashionista world.
Here is the heel-less gravity-defying US$6,000 Antonio Berardi black PVC boots.
Yes, I know it looked like a torture boots, right? However, the shoe designer Berardi said that although the 5 1/2 in boots might look like it is impossible to walk on them; it is really like just walking with ordinary heels. Hmmnn…yeah right.
The English-Italian shoe designer further explained that the heel-less boots are not dangerous to wear since it has a much wider platform sole which gives ample support for the foot and that having a heel is just psychological.
Are we on the same planet, here? Ordinary stilettos are already difficult to manage 8-5 every single day and without the heels, he’s trying to say it’s the same?
This heel-less boots is the newest “killer stilettos” and the medical experts agree with me. It has been reported that a group of physiotherapists, the Charted Society of Physiotherapy said that if a person continues to wear them, they will suffer all kinds of pain permanently since their gait pattern will completelt change its natural cycle.
Oh, to bleed for fashion, sometimes I do understand but on this case, its not worth it.

One correction. They are not PVC.
They are made from *latex* which is very different.

Of course they aren’t for EVERYDAY, but send me a pair and I’ll show you that I can wear them for 2 days straight.
