Zipped It Up This Holiday Season

Zippers have gone a long way when it comes to fashion. In the past, they are only used as items for closure, either for clothes, shoes or bags. Today, designers used them to accessorize their creations.
I have rounded up some of the most trendy items that one can use or give for the holiday season. They are hip, cool, edgy and stylish.
Let us start with zippered bags.
I saw this stunning $1595 Yves Saint Laurent suede leather evening clutch. It is a clever way of stitching up the zippers creating a wavy effect; quite original.

This D&G calfskin and leather handbag will only cost you $1,895. The play of colors and the way the zippers was lined up is totally perfect.
Second stop will be the zipper necklaces.
One great gift you can give your girlfriend is an Armani Exchange Zipper Necklace. This comes in silver or gold plating with rhinestones and the Armani logo. You can wear it in different ways since it can be zipped up or down depending on the look you want.

Last on the list are the zippered shoes. These are not your ordinary zip up boots or shoes but more like shoes accessorized by zippers. These stunning crisscross zipper straps with buckle halter detail are from my favorite designer Christian Louboutin and they can be purchased for just $834 a pair.
